To Oldman River presents artifacts tracing the river's place in Alberta military history, from the mid-1800s through the First World War — material that deserves an identity as considered as the collection.
We developed a finely crafted mark that fuses three elements in one simple gesture: classic rank chevrons, the undulating flow of a river, and directional arrows. A palette drawn from prairie landscapes and military uniforms carries through gallery walls, exhibition panels, and the full label system.
Exhibition design is storytelling at walking pace; this identity keeps the story legible from the doorway to the fine print.
