Our 'push pins' — a shorthand for our logo, visually demonstrating '&then'

We were briefed to create a simultaneously simple yet stylish, strong and engaging identity that evokes the content of the exhibition with legibility. The exhibition displays artifacts highlighting To Oldman River’s impact on Alberta military history. To achieve our goal, we developed a finely crafted mark that, in a beautifully simple way, combines separate elements of classic rank chevrons, the undulating flow of a river, and directional arrows. The copy and mark were colour representative of the prairies and military uniforms.
